Movie Motion: Soffi Jikan going to Hollywood?

As the title may suggest, Soffi Jikan, one of Malaysia's most loved actor famous with his "kasi sengat" quote has been called to play a role in a Hollywood mini series called 'Marco Polo'. Although it's a mini series that will be aired on Netflix, according to a very reliable source he is going to paid about $1M. Yes. That's a million dollars. Like American Dollars.

Marco Polo is a television drama series about Marco Polo's early years in the court of Kublai Khan. As many should know, Marco Polo is said to be the first man to travel to Asia from Venice. He took 24 years in his journey only return to be imprisoned due to war at that time. See! War was and still is a horrible thing, His book however, inspires peoples like Christopher Columbus that eventually colonizes Asia which lets to more wars (sigh).

Back to the subject, I personally felt happy for Soffi as this could be a stepping stone not just for him but to all other actors in Malaysia, He always has this way of being a great antagonist plus he played a great Anti-Hero in KL Gangster 1 and 2. I hope he could a lot better in this series if he ever would accept the offer which I he did.
