The Maze Runner

I just watched The Maze Runner and this is my review of it. Careful there might be spoilers ahead, you've been warned!

Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they're all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow "runners" for a shot at escape. Then the unexpected happens in his way through freedom.

Yeah guys. Its that simple. Much simpler if you had read the book first. The story line was good. It has this classic touch but to be honest, it was so 'mainstream' nowadays. The plot was great. It had a lot of suspense throughout the movie. The flow was nice too. The characters was ok and still there were a lot of character that were there just to be killed. They were simply highlighted then killed. Sad really. The main characters was good. When they were gasping for air, I kinda like felt them too. The visual and audio was amazing. The movie was a bit dark, sometimes we barely see things. I really love the sound of the moving maze. Awesome work. The music doesn't make any uplifting moment for us but still, it was there and it made me feel happy. The best scene is the one when Thomas and Minho both were investigating a section in the maze. Runners. They ddi know how to run.

It was fun. A 2.75 stars for it. Its a movie filled with  running and awesome shifting maze that could be more awesome if there isn't things like the grievers. Recommended for the novel readers, free-runner athlete and post-apocalyptic fanatics.
