Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I had the chance to watch this movie and here is my review of it. There might some spoilers ahead. You've been warned!

Thirty years after defeating the Galactic Empire, Han Solo and his new and former allies faces a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren and his army of Stormtroopers.

Pros:

  • Great direction from JJ Abrams. This movie had great shots and it was beautiful.
  • Great performance from all actors. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and others.
  • Great writing. This movie will make you crave for more Star Wars! Where is Episode 8 when I need it? Characters was interesting too. Rey stole the show. Again, Daisy Ridley was amazing. Poe Dameron was badass and the returning characters was good too. You never know how I missed the banter between Han and Chewie and we will get it in this movie.
  • Great villain. Motivated and strong. Great performance from Adam Driver
  • Action packed.  This movie was filled with action. Wonderfully shot and written. Exciting through every on of it! You will never get bored in this movie.
  • Great graphic although needs a little work with something. It was amazing how they have practical effects with CGI. Great score. Its John Williams! Will it ever be bad?

Cons:

  • Some characters was not fleshed out well. I really need something more from them. I still need more reason for me to side with them.
  • Something were left unanswered. I hope they will answer this in the next movie.
  • CGI characters were too obvious. They used too much practical and when the motion captured characters appeared, they became very obvious.

Overall this movie was really fun. It was funny and action packed. Certainly better the prequels if you ask me. I cried and laughed when watching. It certainly marks that Star Wars is here and it is here to stay. I'll give this an 'A'. Recommended for all. Certainly watch the original trilogy before you watch this, because it will give you more impact when watching this.
