Penguins of Madagascar

I had the chance to watch the movie. This is my review of it. Be careful there might be spoilers ahead. You've been warned!

The four penguins, Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private join forces with undercover organization The North Wind to stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine from destroying the world as we know it.

This movie was a fun movie. The story line was good. We had an overload of cute and cuddly-ness through out the movie. The plot was fine. We had a little suspense and of course a happy ending. The character was good. We get to dive deeper into Skipper and Private in this movie. We saw them as some rigid spy-penguins but now we know they much more than that. The voice casting was great and somehow nostalgic. Benedict Cumberbatch voices a character too. As always, he did it with style. The audio and visual were good. This movie was good on so many levels.

Thou this movie had great influence from the Madagascar trilogy but it has its own tone which is nice. This is not the best animated movie this year but it sure can be in my top 5. I had a great time and I laughed so hard on the celebrity references. Very funny. Recommended for animal lover and spy-fanboys. Be sure to watch it in 3D! 3.5 stars!
